Body Piercing Lovers

Hello guys!!!

Welcome back to our blog.

I am glad that you are always following us.

My previous article which spoke about the type of body piercing in Gold Coast has been responded positively by the readers, I am pretty sure that you are one of them. In this article, I would like to speak about the same topic that is body piercing but with a different point of view. I think that the discussion of body piercing will be more educational and meaningful if I also insert with the history of body piercing itself.

To tell you frankly that even though I have been working in our Body Piercing Gold Coast Salon, but I just came to know about the history of body piercing last week. I will tell you how I decided to do research about the history of body piercing. During that time, I was sitting alone, and all the sudden, there appeared in my mind that who did body piercing first? Why do people come to have body piercing in our Gold Coast Salon? How did they decide to have their body pierced? These questions impel me to do some research to seek out the answers to those questions.

Since old times, having body piercings is somehow has become the cultures of certain cultures.   The motivations for having their body pierced are also different. It depends on every individual and every cultural community. There are still others who get pierced solely for the purpose of self-decoration or as a way to express themselves. This complex reality makes us find ourselves difficult to trace the exact time where the ancestors first had their body pierced, the person who invented body piercing, and the community where this body piercing was first introduced. Nonetheless, as a professional working in the Body Piercing Gold Coast Salon, I am always eager and curious to know about something new. I am trying to trace the timeline of ancient practices based on my research. In order to know the history of body piercing, we need to start from the beginning mentioning body piercing is found in historical records. In ancient culture, Archaeologists have found mummified human remains dating back more than 5000 years, which have body piercings.

It is said that Historians have also confirmed that the practice of body piercing is evenly distributed in Egyptian culture. According to cultural evidence dug up to date, it is believed that the early Egyptians had body piercings to emphasize their social status, the hierarchy in the society, the position in the family as well as for self-adornment. According to professional historians, almost every Egyptian both man and woman belongs high-class family always wears a larger-gauge spark plug in their ears. These are usually made of gold and have a floral motif on them. However, the navel piercing is provided solely for Pharaoh and members of the royal family. Even the Old Testament mentions body piercing jewelry which is considered a symbol of the wealth and beauty of various tribes belonging to the times of the Bible.

One of our pioneers in Body Piercing Gold Coast Salon who is knowledgeable about the history of the world including the history of body piercing said that the Bedouin and nomadic tribes place special emphasis on body jewelry which is also given as a gift for newlywed couples. While piercing serves the purpose of personal jewelry in many cultures, this is done for more practical reasons in the Roman Empire. For example, Roman officers had their piercing nipples to signify not only strength and virility but their union with the rest of the countrymen. Being a tribal soldier, people belonging to this tribe also got septum piercing and wore large wild boar fangs through their noses. This was done with the aim of intimidating rival tribesmen.

History of Ear Lobe Piercing

Many people do believe that earlobe piercing is the first body piercing type which is used by ancient ancestors. Anthropologists around the world believe that piercing the earlobes is almost certainly the first human attempt to do body piercing. It is believed that piercing forms are carried out by primitive tribes for miraculous reasons because they believe that evil spirits can take possession of the human body by inserting it through the ears.
However, wearing metal and luxurious ornaments on pierced ears is supposed to drive out evil spirits. Christian sailors wear expensive metal earrings so if they die at sea while fighting and their bodies are stranded, their earrings can be used to pay for the right burial. Lobe piercing is very popular among men and women.

Nose Piercing History

The shape of the nose piercing is done by women who believe that a jeweled nose ring or stud is used in piercing enhances its beauty. However, according to ancient medical science piercing the nose, Ayurveda has a more practical purpose. Ayurveda practitioners believe that the left side of a woman's nose is related to their reproductive system and wearing a nose ring or a stud will reduce pain caused by menstrual cramps and childbirth. Because more rich women wear heavy nose rings that are put forward the risk of cutting through piercing, this ring is locked in an ornamental chain attached to the hair to support the weight of the ring.

That’s all that I can share in this article. I hope that this article will be meaningful and useful to you.
